
A little Monday Motivation.
I woke up this on my own, the alarm didn’t go off yet so I tapped my phone to see how early it was. My phone read 4:58 AM, I must say I was more then happy to see I had a full 22 minutes before I had to get out of bed. But me being me, of course I couldn’t get back to sleep, so I laid there reflecting. Later as I was knocking out my morning routine it hit me. If I was already awake, why did I decide to lay in bed longer? Why didn’t I get up and do something productive with that extra time. I was beating myself up, my next thought was this, girl you just worked 3, 12 hour shifts this weekend. Sh*t, I deserved a mental break.
So motivation for today, don’t beat yourself up over not always being on your “A game”, give yourself a little wiggle room. Making sure you have your mind in a good place before starting your day is just as important as any planning or prepping you can do.

I thought I was the only one that asked myself that. When I do get up and I feel rushed to get out the house, its always an “after-thought” like, “See if you had just got out of the bed lazy!” but you’re right – we work too hard not to get a little extra “sleep” or “me” time alone before the rush of the day…good tip!
